The historical town of Soufriere is just a few paces down the road where the colonial architecture is perfectly preserved and the bustle of daily activity takes place around the town square, the Roman Catholic Church and the commercial centre. For the outdoor enthusiast, Soufriere is unmatched. The staff at The Still Beach House can organise rainforest hikes, waterfall visits, plantation tours, visits to the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, and trips to the Sulphur Springs and baths.

Scuba and Snorkel excursions

Action Adventure Divers is situated right on Soufriere Bay, just a few paces away from the hotel. They offer daily, customised tours by fishing boat to the best diving and snorkeling spots in the area. You are assured personal service in small groups and access to the best spots in Soufriere.

Rainforest Hikes

Summit the Pitons or immerse yourself in cool, verdant greens of the rainforest. Our experienced rainforest hike guides can tailor an excursion to any level of intensity.

Plantation Tours

Ruby Estate, a 600 acre property that has been in the Du Boulay family for four generations offers an insight into plantation life. The site boasts a functioning waterwheel, hundreds of acres of citrus and cocoa cultivation, copra processing for coconut oil and other by-products. The tour runs about two hours and includes some hiking, fresh fruit and coconuts and the expertise of the Ruby Estate team.

We can arrange visits to the Diamond Botanical Gardens and Waterfall, an historical property on which sit the sulphur baths commissioned by Louis XVI for his troops. Learn lots about Soufriere’s unique flora and fauna.
